Equal Paths: Building accessible career paths across Europe

Kirjoittanut Innolive | 22.12.2025 11:47

One year into the Equal and Accessible Career Paths project, we are proud to share the progress made toward creating inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities. Funded by Erasmus+ and driven by a consortium of five organizations from Finland, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Greece, the project aims to transform the way we approach employability, training, and workplace diversity.

During the first year, the project established a strong foundation and delivered key milestones. We developed accessible training resources for professionals, advanced research on the role of artificial intelligence in job seeking and designed a digital toolkit to support inclusive employment. Practical pilots, such as creating CVs with user-friendly tools, have already improved digital skills and confidence among participants. Collaboration across partners has been strengthened through shared platforms, ensuring transparency and inclusivity in every step.

Accessibility is not an add-on; it is the foundation of equality. Every output of the project, from training materials to digital tools, follows “design for all” principles. This ensures that individuals with neurodivergent profiles or cognitive challenges can fully participate in learning and employment processes. By embedding accessibility into every stage, we are creating solutions that are usable, adaptable, and equitable for everyone.

Looking ahead, the next phase will bring piloting of the trainer modules and employer training programs, the launch of the digital job-seeking toolkit, and the development of a skills-based transition toolkit and micro-credential framework to recognize learning achievements.
