E.A.S.E.- Empowering Abilities: Adventure Education and Experiential Learning for All

E.A.S.E. – Empowering Abilities through Outdoor Education is an international project funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Its aim is to strengthen inclusive, adventure-based learning in vocational education and training by providing teachers with a variety of inclusive outdoor education methods.

The project enhances student engagement, resilience and employability through experiential learning, combining sustainability, wellbeing and teamwork.

In addition, the project supports policy-level reforms, institutional change and long-term knowledge exchange, ensuring broad accessibility and meaningful impact across European vocational education systems.

Objectives

Within the E.A.S.E. project, teacher training is delivered through the Trailblazers’ Academy programme, a Pathfinder’s Toolkit is developed, and student camps are organised to put adventure-based learning into practice. The project also includes policy advocacy, dissemination events and the use of digital resources to ensure long-term sustainability. Activities further involve workshops and peer mentoring to integrate inclusive experiential teaching into vocational education curricula.

Project Structure

The project consists of five work packages:

Work Package 1 – Project Management
Work Package 2 – Pathfinder’s Toolkit: Resources for Teachers
Work Package 3 – Trailblazers’ Academy: Training for Adventure Educators
Work Package 4 – Expedition Camps: Outdoor-Based Adventure Camps for Students
